Relationship Between ACI and IAORThe Annual Comprehensive Index is based on the compilation of the International Abstracts in Operations Research, a journal of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS). This effort could not have been completed without the full cooperation of IFORS, International Abstracts in Operations Research and its editors. They have provided us with the bibliographic data contained in the ACI. Further, the IAOR abstracters did most of the OR/MS Classification. We see IAOR and the ACI as complementary rather than competing products. Citations in the ACI do not include abstracts or author addresses, but do include OR/MS Classifications and the IAOR Abstract Number. The ACI can be used for quick subject or author searches and IAOR referred to for more detailed information.
